My Life
Hello my name is Danielle Murguia, I am 18 years old and I am going to be a graduated classmen of 2017 of Lindsay High School. I am the second oldest of eight. I have seven sisters and one brother. I am athletic I like to play softball, basketball, golf and cheer. Many people can describe me as an outgoing person. I love to hang out with friends and family. On my spare time I enjoy going to my youth group at church where we worship the name of God and share things with one another about him we sing and also play activities games.
Something about myself, I am a self starter at the age of eight I have always told myself and my dad that I wanted to participate in sports. The first sport I played was softball I remember it being very memorable because my dad was my coach for three years. Some of the things I learned was to hit, catch, and throw a ball. Overall while playing softball I learned how to work together as a team and help each other out. Basketball caught my interest in seventh grade. Then I continued playing my freshman and sophomore year. I've also played Golf my senior year it was my first year but i've played on my free time with my family. Now with cheer I new since I was young that I wanted it to be a long term sport. I first started to get the interest from my older sister she was a cheerleader herself and a great one at that, and so after that that's how I got into it and liked cheer and now I could say that i've been cheering for about eight years and still cant get enough of it. That just two years ago I was offered to coach the mini cheerleaders and I loved everything and the girls. With my Youth Group really didn't know about it until a very good friend of mine asked me to go with her. But at first I didn't right away go I don't know why because when I first went I loved it and everybody in it.
My Education means a lot to me. Because without it how am I supposed to go to the store and not get ripped off or know how to do something all on my own.So with having an education is not only something I want it's what we all need. Without a high school diploma I wouldn't be able to get a job and support myself. Its very important to have an education in order to make something out of my life and become someone. So with an education I could finally choose and have something I would like to call a life long job. The kind of pathway i'm going for myself is to become a phlebotomist. Phlebotomy is something i've always been interested because since I was young blood and needles never really been a problem.
To sum it all up, my high school experience has been a roller coaster. I've had my ups and my downs when it came to my grades but I kept trying and never gave up on myself. So overall I could say that i'll be leaving LHS with the knowledge of being a responsible student and the many different obstacles that I have faced and accomplished during my high school experience. I have grown in so many ways and I am thankful for the people in my life who taught me and showed me what it means to be a strong and smart young lady.
